Smart Street Parties are on again!

For those of you that missed out the last Smart Street Party held in November, now’s your chance to join in the fun as the Smart Street Mall comes alive with activity this coming Friday for the second in this series of four twilight events.

From 5pm dozens of market stalls selling a huge variety of art, crafts, designer goods and vintage wares will fill the mall.  Smart Street retailers will also be open creating an excellent Christmas shopping opportunity.

Buskers will be playing from 5pm while you browse the stalls and shops then grab a bite to eat. Street food vendors will add to the choices available from the mall food businesses.

To add to the excitement, visit the Stretch Arts Festival team to help them to create an ephemeral wearable art sculpture, grab a fun Polaroid souvenir from the dress-up "photo-booth", relax in the games area, have your portrait drawn by an artist or take your children to the Love to Read tent for a special twilight story-time session.
Then kick off your shoes and dance the night away to the smooth voices of ‘The Merindas’ as they perform classic songs from the Motown era from 7pm.

This free community event suitable for all ages is on Friday 6th December, 5-9pm in Smart Street Mall, Mandurah.  The Smart Street Parties are a 'From Little Things' initiative, presented by Community Solutions in partnership with the City of Mandurah.
